Cabs in Italy have normal plates as every other car, but they also have another small tag on the back as shown in the pictures below.
In both them, you can see the symbol of the city, the print "SERVIZIO PUBBLICO" (Public Service) and a serial number. Due to the low value of these tags, the shape can change easily in the years.
